This morning we woke up with a hunger for a cooked breakfast.
We had visitors coming in two hours and Trent had been banned from cooking prior as he has no concept of cleaning as he goes. I was not about to let guests walk in to the aftermath of his cooking routine... In his defense the food always tastes fantastic so any mess made is forgiven (and usually cleaned by me).
However in our rush we decided they eating out would be the best solution or our cooked brekkie.
So we headed out to St Kilda and popped into Miss Jackson.
They serve AllPress coffee and their lattes are smooth and very easy to drink.
And their food.... Mmmmmm!
I had corn fritters served with a chilli compote, avocado and crispy bacon.
Trent devoured his scramble eggs with trout and wilted spinach on sourdough. Both of us were impressed.
The service is lovely, the staff are very down to earth and friendly.
There is nothing better to do on your morning off than to sit in and read the paper while eating breakfast.
We highly recommend you try it out.
